Meditation is so essential. In order to focus and create a plan to achieve what you desire you must learn how to still that busy mind of yours and stilling your mind can be extremely difficult and stressful especially when you are running around frantically looking for just that one sweet moment of peace. I was at my ob/gyn and every woman I know is never looking forward to experience that huge violation of privacy besides me!!!!! I love the peace and quiet haven the doctors office can bring after dealing with my loud and active 3 and 5 year old and in fact I look at my ob visit as a bit of a vacation at times… I know you all are thinking Ross is insane but this was my reality until I just started to reschedule my children’s schedules around so I could get my meditation in and then I finally started to slowly incorporate meditating in with our morning and afternoon activities and believe it or NOT….It works…Now, it took me two solid weeks of them fussing and not willing to cooperate but it works!!!!!! As a busy business owner and mother I knew I had to get something going because I couldn’t pause the children and a surely couldn’t pause work…. So we must learn how to still our mind and meditate with out odd schedules for our sanity….

On your journey towards healing it is truly a bumpy ride and scary as hell at times but nobody said transformation was easy. It’s scary to move from your comfort zone into a zone you are not so familiar with. So in order to grab at that life you want to live you must first accept transformation and be ready to transform and grow into the beautiful butterfly you are….. Cocoons are so tight and definitely uncomfortable for the butterfly so they stand still and allow life to happen and go through the process because they know the rewards will be so much better than before… They know that when they come out of that cocoon they will have beautiful wings and be able to fly but in order for that process to take place that had to become comfortable with being uncomfortable for a short time……Be Happy, comfortable, and working towards your goals while you are uncomfortable and be ready to transform into that butterfly and take off with your health, education, marriage, loving self, transformation and everything else in your life….

I was passing a church near my home and on the billboard in large letters I saw the phrase WOUNDED HEALER and I started to think that hey, that’s me, a wounded healer. I have been through so much pain and heartache that I can just about relate to a variety of testimonies and have a gift that seems like a curse at times. The gift of feeling the pain and issues of others and being able to relate because I am a wounded healer or better yet I am extremely empathic. Empathy can create a load of issues. If you are an empath or wounded healer you must learn how to separate yourself from stressful situations and scenarios that don’t belong to you. Because of your helpfulness and ability to relate to others you are now carrying around feelings that your don’t own and in this case your wounds are reopened and you are back in your head again with a thousand and one fears, anxieties and woes that have been dumped over and onto you. It is so imperative for empaths or wounded healers to center and clear self regularly.
I am sure you are wondering, how do I center and clear myself and I have a couple of exercises I do. After a client or friend has dumped a boat load of issues onto me I quickly do a chakra clearing meditation, brisk walk on a nature trail, and take a long essential oil and sea salt bath to sort of clear myself. So, if you are a wounded healer/ empathy try some of these activities to clear your energy.

Life is hectic and full of noise so we must learn how to sit down, reflect and sip on some tea. I have really gotten into herbal teas lately so I wanted to share some of my favorite recipes with you all.
1st Favorite Tea Mix
2 teaspoons of natural Vanilla flavor
Honey add to taste
For: If your nerves are all over the place and frazzled to the max take you a nice hot eucalyptus and sea salt bath and then brew this awesome tea
2nd Favorite Tea
Healing Flo Anxiety Mix Tea
add pineapple juice( only a splash or two
Chill it or serve it hot
For: Anxiety relief and relaxation you can also use the mix in bath water with lemon oil. Step out and mist your body with the base chakra oil mist.
3rd Favorite Tea
For: inflammation, calming negativity and relaxation…..

My path towards healing has been a bumpy one if I do say so myself but it has been rewarding as well. You know my grandmother would say, “If it don’t kill you it will make you stronger” and I must admit she was not only wise but so true. I had to learn how to forgive myself, others, and LIVE in the PRESENT and stop hanging out with the past. Memories can often have you stuck reliving hurt, regrets, and fears over and over again which weights down your heart and soul which stops you and even you fro living your Purpose and life because you are too focused on old memories instead of focused on creating more. So, I have decided to create a mini guide to start up your forgiveness.
Grab a God BOX and write out your wishes to God. My first prayer I wrote out was to help my heart heal and be able to truly forgive others and myself. Putting it in the God Box is a way to walk away from it and know that God will answer your request.
START mediating like crazy. I would focus on the heart chakra, base chakra and crown. My girlfriend told me about this wonderful mantra meditation called Ho’oponopono.. Oh my, it’s a wonderful peaceful and soothing meditation .
START living your BEST Life…. Do fun things, go outside more for walks, laugh more, spend more time with family
Do things for you and not to please others………and learn how to say No in about 40 different languages. 🙂
